At Angel Hill Bed and Breakfast our vision is a romantic one: to offer our guests a getaway with simple pleasures and quiet moments . . . warm and generous hospitality where even the smallest details are important . . . a place where kindred spirits can enjoy all the pampering and luxury absent in the hectic workaday world . . . a respite from the ordinary.

Each
guest suite is a special haven furnished with the treasures
of yesterday blended with the comforts of today. Enjoy
a sumptuous breakfast on our veranda in warm weather,
in our sunny dining room, or in your room by the fireplace
or the window's edge. Enjoy sherry or tea in our gracious
living room or cozy library, walk through the woods to
the brook, read in the Victorian gazebo, or sneak a nap
in the hammock under the giant pines. Angel Hill is nestled
in the genteel and picturesque village of Norfolk, embraced
by the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut and the foothills
of the Massachusetts Berkshires. Since the turn of the
century, visitors have come seeking nature's beauty and
serenity. Every season brings its special pleasures and
a pleasant jaunt in any direction finds new adventures.
Guests may explore quaint villages with covered bridges,
picnic by cascading waterfalls or atop scenic mountains,
tour museums and vineyards, wander through perennial gardens
and country fairs, visit antique shops, hike, bike, golf,
swim, canoe, ride, or enjoy Grand Prix racing. In summer
the hills are alive with the sound of Mozart, as Norfolk
is the home of the Yale Summer School of music. In the
winter cross-country skiing is a favorite pastime.
